Yeah he doesnt look to go very fast. In my case its hard to impress my father, he drives 300hp+ v8 since he is 17yo...

He was kinda surprised by the turbo teg tho ;D

Funny vid :P

I think I posted this originally? Anywho it's old, but was funny.

Reasons video's might seem slow:
1. You don't feel the g-forcez
2. You don't hear the loudass engine
3. Cameras are usually placed farther from the road than your eyes are, so it seems slower. Like when you're going 120mph and look at things distant from you, doesn't look that fast.

you can tell it has a bit of power by the car the car squats but ya its hard to believe 600+rwhp by that video

Word of advice for anyone who is shooting video of their car at the track, shoot from middle track so your not zooming and you get the flyby action. Car will actually look fairly quick

Never zoom in unless you want it to look like its standing still.

Re: Dad's first taste of boost

well i'm zoomed out all the way. the camera is mounted just behind and to the left of where the passengers head would be.
this is a 60-110mph run. 3rd-4th gear pull.

and this is a 40-110mph run. i started in 3rd gear when the one car was next to me. you can see the car in my jdm rear view mirror.

doesn't look like a 12sec crx to me. i never ran it at the track, but i beat high 12 - low 13 sec cars on the freeway all the time

im going to goahead and say its not a 12 sec crx.. ;) if you havent run it then you wouldnt know...

Plus everyone knows turbo cars pull like a raped ape once you get up top....The problem with hondas is the first 60ft...on the highway ill beat a 12sec mustang all night long, but the best i run on the strip is 13.1....

If its a healthy d on 12 psi+slicks+good driver=12's

Re: Dad's first taste of boost

it's a healthy dohc zc on 12 psi. with slicks it's running 12's.
and speaking of ape raping
i raped a c5 zo6 on the freeway, but lost to a stock g35 from a dig cause i couldn't get the ---- to hook.

i just sold her and she's gonna get dynod this weekend. i'm excited to see what she does. i thnk he's gonna get slicks and run it at the 1/8th mile tracks here too.

as soon as my chevy II is running i'm gonna get an eg hatch and shoot for 11's
