CRX Fuel tank weight?
 

Im building my semi-drag car and i want to use a 5 gal fuel cell instead of the stock fuel tank to reduce weight into my '90 CRX, so i need to know how many weight im going to reduce.

Anyone here know the weight from a CRX 88-91 fuel tank?

Ok, any better ideas to reduce weight?

i have an extra CRX hatch i already remove both glasses to put flexiglass on it ;D.

Door panels, bumper supports, a/c, power steering, basically anything thats not needed. You can do a number under the dash too; hell,cut out half the dash

Bumper supports, good idea!!, i only wish bumpers dont fall down.

A/C --- done
Power stering ---- done
Eliminate muffler and leave open downpipe only ---- done
remove passenger seat --- done
no rear cover --- done
no extra tire --- done

get rid of one of your kidneys and one of your eyes cut out some of your intestines some fat off your ass so on so fourth you dont need your toes so those can go your only using half your brain might as well toss out the other half... shave every hair on your body and remmove one of your testicles

Are you going to be nitpicking on every ounce possible to lose from the car itself? Could always ditch that pass. mirror too. lol
