GSXR 600 motor, used for our Formula SAE racing competition. 4 EGT sensors, 5 lambdas :D They have used a turbo one year in the past, but said it didn't give much of a gain the way they did it. My goal is to get enough research done so we will have a forced induction machine for next year's competition >:D Garrett sponsors us and sends us free turbos, and we just got a GT15. It's a cute little turbo. I have a lot of work to do before it actually gets put on the car, if that even happens.

The main thing holding us back from making serious horsepower is that we are limited to a 60mm restrictor in the intake.

Yea sorry about my shitty camera phone pics (as always). I go to UW-Madison for mechanical engineering. This is the most fun part of school, I could seriously work in the shop for hours and hours.

i got a couple of friends who go to UTI in houston. $26,000 for a complete degree is ass raping though. if i had the shop and tools and sponsers for that stuff i would be a happy man.

---- UTI. I mean they are a great school but that is way too much money. Get an engineering degree for less than that and make a lot more money straight outta school.

We also picked up sponsorship from AEM, they are helping us with the intake runners. And dozen or so other companies I can't think of the name of. We get lots of free ----. We just had a place micropolish a ---- ton of parts, including valves, gears, and more.

I'm going to be in my school's FSAE competition next year and talking to some of the guys - that is the gayest rule.
I'll check the rule book and see if we can innovate something around that rule for next year.

There has to be some limiting factor in the engine. or else some one at a rich school would run a atop fuuel motor. Making the limitation a restrictor makes it more intersting than making it a cubic inch restriction. the key is the place ment and dsign of the intake and runners. CFD programs canhelp with that. they only cost like 20 grand
