Re:Computer Nerds Needed
Are they popping up like a warning window? What it is is probably the built in network messenger.
Open Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services Search for Messenger double click it and set it to disabled as start up type and then click stop and click ok. That should hopefully help ya out. |

I tried all of that internet program bullshit, and then the one thing that fixes it is a guy building a home made turbo? ----!!! Where do you guys learn this ----?
I've been dealing with this ---- for a long ass time. I figured I would just have to live with it as a side effect of porn. haha. I just did that thing and it's been 45 seconds and no pop up. ::crosses fingers:: Thanks for the help. ;) |
Re:Computer Nerds Needed
Dude, I told you what your problems was, but I just didn't have the time to fix it. You have two troj viruses and another type of virus. Go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/hous...start_corp.asp and run a scan. The list of viruses will pop up. The ones you have need to be removed manually. Follow the directions on how to get rid of them. It will be much easier if you can get your POS printer to work because then you don't have to write down all the instructions.

Re:Computer Nerds Needed
Disabling the messenger service is the fix. Those are IP based net sends. Net send is an internal tool admins use to give users warnings before rebooting servers. They can be broadcast across all computers on a domain easily. You can also block the port they come in on, but since you're not connected to a domain, just shutting off the service will cause them to stop.
