Iam popping for the Lincoln Electric Weld-Pak/Quick-Weld since there is a guy on ebay selling them factory refurbised with 1 year warranty, which is what they come with new. He wants $215 shipped, which isn't bad since go for around $400 new. Only other product I would consider would be the Wal-mart Cambell Hausfield since they have like a 3year warranty and you can say "hey i purposoly threw this on the ground and ran it over" and they will still take it back and exchange it(Wal-mart that is).
Heres some info on the Lincoln Electric Weld-Pak/Quick-Weld and yes they are excatly the same just decide if you want black or red: http://content.lincolnelectric.com/p...ture/e7349.pdf http://content.lincolnelectric.com/p...ture/e7353.pdf Ebay auction if you wanna check them out http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3811075131 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3811074344 |

Good job with the IC piping. they came out excellent. I never even though about painting my IC flat black. NICE.

doc, that's like the same exact welder that i have, just a different brand i guess, but it just has the 'min' and 'max' heat settings just like that :P to all the haters, i don't care what you say becuase that was my first time welding, and my charge pipes prolly look 10 times better than half the people on here :-* as far as the 'spatter spray', i got some of that, but didn't really use it, i just grinded the spatter off. can you get that stuff where you're actually going to weld, or do you have to avoid the spot where the weld is going to be? i wasn't sure, so i didn't even use it. |
