CEL Question

if my speedo sensor isnt working will it go into limp mode when i drive

jus asking cause i need to change it soon and i have 450cc injectors an i know when it goes into limp mode it floods the engine

no its not stoping the engine from working properly just the speedo. my speedo was always going crazy and the car ran perfectly find.

No limp mode, will drive fine.

On older ED's the spedo cable drives the VSS and will throw a code. I dont how it's done obd-1+

Itll CEL, yes, but will not be the full meal deal limp mode. If your on a vtec motor, yup no vtec. Unless you're rocking an Ebay chip.
