Quote: its a pushrod cavy the only thing you can do to make it fast is push it off a cliff.

I say: Bump the compression to 14.5:1, 200 shot of N2O, duct tape the steering wheel to the dash, point it towards a steep incline, preferably with some flammable objects near the intended target, put it in drive, and throw a cinder block on the accelerator.

Then go buy a real car.

i remember a a magazine doing a article on trying to make a cav "quick" by throwing in some nos i think they did a 50-75 shot and blew the ringlands. i think they came close to 200whp. your nothing close to that without a turbo or nos. give up your engine sucks and wouldnt be able to stand anything your talking about.

wow. just wow.

dont lie about your revs (if you're not, then thats just stupid as the cam wont make power there anyways) or your HP. intake, exhaust and a p&p wont get you anywhere near that. maybe add like 15hp tops, so now you're back to 115, but its whp this time

yes. they are only like 115hp and 120something tq, i had a 94 2.2 cavalier (ya ya, different body, same everthing else).

Is your name Mike? and are you from Florida?

Because if you are who you think you are.....your car is ----.....stop talking trash on the interweb.....

This Mike character used to claim mid 14's @ 105mph, then he change the story to say mid 15's @ 105mph. With a gay *** cavalier, bunch of gauges, intake and exhaust.......and the guy would never race anyone....to scared to look dumb.

I'm sort of confused as to why you came onto a site called Homemadeturbo, when you're planning on installing ITB's and being the fastest N/A cavy around?

Edit: I find this pretty interesting.

since i'm probably the only person that can actually relate to your car.

let me tell you how much of a dumbass you really are. first of all, the stock cam barely makes power to redline, the only thing changing your redline to 7800rpms will do is blow ---- up. there is no way your stock OHV can spin that fast period. Second there is no way to take off your speed limiter or change redline without 1. a standalone system (which venom is not ) 2. HPT which you don't even know what that is.
Stock 2.2 with the automatic put out about 85whp,and no i'm not lieing about that. I put out 124whp on 4psi...with a PnP head, solid mount, 56mm TB, 2.5" turbo back exhaust with stock cat. and turbo'd on a .42/.48 with a shitty tune on MS and boost leaks. (megasquirt for those who don't know) .do you want the graph because i can send it to you, along with pictures of everything to show you i'm not BS'ing like you ... on 12psi with a .48/.60 the car was probably a low to mid 15 second car, nothing at all to brag about.. the auto's are strong but shitty geared

when you actually show some proof about your POS cavalier making 196whp come back here and proof me wrong, but until then take you ~90whp car and shove it up your ***.

p.s. i'll sell you a complete turbo kit for this POS...the one pictured actually.
