Cav in need of some serious help!!!

i just bought a 1998 cav 2.2L (6 months ago) and after racing a 1996 civic (turbo 8psi d16) i realized somthing
my car is really slow and i need performance advice i have a weapon cold air intake, a polished and ported head, full 2 1/4 exhaust to a magniflow muffler not cat a personaly customized map and a tein coilover kit the car is auto and after racing the civic i again remapped the ecu now with no speed limiter and a 7800rpm redline i was wondering what more can i do to boost power without boost and still run pump gas and is it safe to rev it to 7800 ( stock redline was 5650rpm ) as of now the car has 196whp and 182ft-lbs @5650rpm

Ive heard from multiple sources that the autotragics are stronger? Can anyone back up/negate this claim?

Turbocharge it for sure.

its a pushrod cavy the only thing you can do to make it fast is push it off a cliff, you probually have a high 17second car right there. and I'm calling bs on the hp and trq. numbers unless if I see a dyno sheet with ya momma in the picture holding it. So tell me what software are you using to retune? plus I bet its real safe to raise the redline on a stock pushrod, pos engine designed for high school girls 2grand as well. Good work the the word domestic ricer is starting to come to mind. Considering your car stock made around 115hp at the flywheel and 140ft lbs of trq. your claims are bs ricer-jiberish. Boosted your car will still be slow, swap in an ecotec or a quad four and atleast that way you'll actually make some power.

Not worth it. A guy turboed one here and laid numbers near a W41 stock. Find a Twincam instead, or an earlier Cavalier and swap a Quad into it.
