Car seems to lag badly under light throttle, whats the problem?
ok so like the title says, my car seems to be lagging under light throttle. its only in lower to mid rpm's. if i go full throttle, the problem goes away. but under light throttle, it seems as if its going to bog down and die. Also, im losing coolant like crazy. i thought at first it was a head gasket, but there is no gas or coolant in the oil. there isn't a leak either, i checked that first. My car doesn't smoke at all. my #2 cylinder is soaked in oil, but it has good compression all around. the distributor cap and rotor are good, as well as the wires. spark plugs need replacing after the oil soak, but they were good before this problem. only about two weeks old. im all out of idea's so any suggestions would really help.

you have a leak you don't know about, or a bad hg you dont know about.
as for bogging issues on part throttle, shitty part throttle tuning, or problems related to stuff above.

there is no tuning, its pretty stock. no turbo i mean. i/h/e and underdrive pulleys for now. but i checked all my vacuum lines, they look good. i think its a head gasket, but the compression says otherwise. im going to swap it out tomorrow anyways. along with a fuel filter, intake manifold gasket, and new radiator hoses.
