15 months? I would be calling them every day and stopping by to see where my money was.

To have a brand lifted you need to have a structural safety inspection where you submit a detailed analysis of the dammage with photos of how it was repaired. Then it gets titled as salvage - rebuilt. I know someone who did this and failed the structural because he didn't re-do the spot welds in exactly the same place! Just make sure you know what you're getting into here...

It isn't structurally totalled. It's just declared total loss because it's more expensive to fix it then the car's value. And I don't have to pay to get it back etc...It's already mine, I just get my money and my car.

I'm selling the car though. I'm not going to repair it and it doesn't have any structural damage...the body is damaged and the door behind and the bumpers...that's it.
The car isn't structurally totaled. They have other rules here as if the repair costs more then the car then they declare it economically totaled and you keep the car get the cash...so you can maybe find another place to reapir it cheaper or get a new car and tos that one away or sell it.

I'm like bugging my insurance company to pick up the pace already lol....I got some injury claim and I have like an extra insurance...some rights insurance blah blah...they have lawers working on my case for me etc...that's why I pay the extra bucks ;)
Good thing i got that insurance, cause if i didn't I would have to wait a long time and they wouldn't help me right away....Money talks

Yeah thats how i started but it gets me no where, i ring up sit on the phone for like 20 mins to speak to some dumb ---- who doesnt give a ---- who doesnt even know where he is then i get stressed and end up worse off for ringing them. . . . .

oh well at least there is interest going on top of my claim as i have paid for the repairs myself, but like semnos if the insurance company had not fucked about my car would have been written off :'(
