ummm...nope...not the same..
its his fault that he doesnt care to transfer ownership
sounds like your holding a grudge from someone doing something like this to you...tough ----

i could really be a dick and call it in stolen. say it was sitting up, then bam, gone.
i have been on the other side before. but you know what i did. i hunted the guys *** down and paid him to get a new title and sign it over to me....and you know what i did....i registered it.
ill tell you what...ill not do this if you want to give me $400 dollars worth of exhaust and piping, aluminum rad, and 500 bucks cash... you give me that and you can feel like you saved the world

I see both points here. You shouldn't just take the car man thats basically stealing something you sold to someone :1
Then again the car technically is still in your name and if something happens its your ***. Why not contact the guy and find out why he hasn't registered it yet?

as far as im concerned...the guy i sold the car to didnt complete his contract in the sale by not registering the car in his name. he voided the contract by marking through his name on the title. thats the way the state sees it...its the way i see it.
joshMO...its not my responsibility to contact him. its his..he's had a year and even though im away at college and dont "live" there anymore, im not difficult at all to get a hold of.
jago... 35000ish person town, ------ out. there is nowhere to get a parking ticket around here...even then. it would be on his other cars tag that is currently on this car(which is illegal)
