CAMshaft selection post up your experiences.
 
OK Iv been working my ass off so i can build my motor. I just want some input on the 59500 cam i know it says competition only but I can deal with solid motor mounts and a 6 puck unsprung all day so . I basically want to find out how bad its gonna be.

It might just be me, but I've never had the desire to spend money on a cam. I can't really even say I've driven a car with a different cam, but more boost usually makes me forget.

Well, the head i got for free needs to be rebuilt so i figured to opp to put a cam and springs in. I just want to know if it gonna be too much for a car that going to be driven on the street.

I just don't think that sounds like such a rowdy cam, but what do i know. :1

i don't think i've ever heard an import with a cam in it? do they sound lobey? i have heard an lt-1 with a pretty fat cam, souned(?) mean

it all depends on the rest of your setup, the cam can make or break it. Ive seen guys run NA cams in a boosted setup and it seems to work okay esp if you have a large turbo.

both cams are there nitrous/ turbo cams

yea their #2 N/A cam rocks and made WOWWW difference that even my mom felt it lol . spec are similar on the turbo cam but wiht less overlap i am assuming they still rocks.
oh and ---- the Zex, all i heard from ppl is that it made "noticable difference".
