I have cable and it's pretty nice. 900+ download and around 500 upload. I've never had any lag more than normal or any limits to how much I download. ??? When I first got it, it sucked because the company was new and they suck ass, but now they have their ---- together. It smokes local DSL like woah.

It sounds like pinging in that contexts refers to regularly pinging to make the server think you are actively using the internet when you're not. I've heard of doing that for dialup to stay connected, I don't really understand how it would work for cable ??? (always connected...)

i`ve just moved a while ago.
i called sbc on the 15th and they said the services will be up on the new house on the 19th, then they called , saying it won`t be up until the 29th, THEN, they call yesterday saying the services won`t be p until a month after becuse some ---- has to do with the area.!!????

should i cut it and go for somethin else???
or is there any other DSL ISP that`s recommanded???
