That's not what I've been reading in the papers/seeing on the news. :P
Flipping it Renr style, I heard a black guy on the radio today saying the relief effort reaction time was a big racist thing by bush and the government, and then he admitted that the black mayor didn't do any better of a job. When asked if that was because of racism, he said that it wasn't a racism thing, the mayor just didn't do what he was supposed to.
And for the record, I didn't mention the words "ALL BLACK PEOPLE, BLACKDRAGON, DMX20, 89SIPIMPIN, OR DA-MAX" in this post about what I heard throughout my day. Thank you.

im farther than 1000 miles, and yes i am doing nothing. i refuse to donate a god damn thing to those looting orangutans. ( i mean african american police officers)

I have no problem with race. My room mate is black and he would be the first one to back me up on this. The problem is attitude. The "poor me attitude." The situation with the hurricane is a perfect example of that attitude. They knew that the city sits below the water table. They knew that the levy was going to break and they sat in the city that they knew was going to flood. The im to poor to walk out excuses is crap. It was their choice to stay behind and it was irresponsible. So, instead of trying to put themselves ahead by helping each other they shoot at the people trying to rescue them and blame Bush for the problems. This attitude is the problem with America today. It just happens that a lot of blacks have this attitude. Granted i bet if this happened in some white towns the same would happen. For example, boulder colorado has a riot at least once a year. The cause of this riots is because the kids are irresponsible because everything is given to them.
People should take responsibility for themselves and work to get ahead. Blame should only fall on yourself for your own failure. Blame should not fall on the person trying fix the failure after it happened.
