putting the bottom end together is easy as balls. Do that ---- yourself and save $600. As long as you have a repair manual for a 91 integra and a torque wrench, your straight. Oh and a feeler gauge and plastigauge. Any idiot can do it. ----, come to my garage and ill do it for a case of beer

if you need a flywheel and pulley i got you, i have a stock gsr flywheel and crank pulley i can you bring you on the dyno day. just taking up space, but i recommend balacning

Sounds like a good setup.. I have some recomendations.. I have a low comp. LS/VTEC setup, simular to yours, LS block bored to 81.5mm, probe industries forged pistons 8.7:1, arp head studs, 1st gen b16 head and eagle h beam rods.

1st thing, use OEM Honda piston rings. I used Hastings, and under boost I was getting some blow by. If you're running more than 10 psi, put a good tune on it, I got a little aggressive with my timing. I started to get some detonation around 12psi with 25 degrees of timing. ;D

Good choice on the higher compression, lower compression sucks bottom end. Your setup will probably be about 10:1, which would be a good setup.

Hve your block/girdle line bored and your cranked matched all the way across so that your bearing will be the same all across the crank. Makes things really easy. Getting the bearings is the only hard part about doing the bottom end.

hey that sounds good Chris. I just got some little bugs worked out of my NA all motor lsvtec motor so I might call the dyno soon so we can take it and get it tunned finally. I know you probably dont remember me Chris. Talked to a while back. I will give a call later on when I get the appointment. You said IMP dyno right? I lost your business card :1

Its an LS block...there is no girdle. He will be checking the crank for bearing clearances...if it needs a line bore, he will recommend it.

Again...I know I am competant enough to do my own build, I just really dont have the time and like I said, this is a test for this guy.

At 10:1 compression and 15-18 lbs of boost, this motor needs to be assembled completely correctly...there is no room for error :)
