450 seems a little high for assembly and polishing the crank, i think i paid 100 to polish crank and i assembled my motor myself. also dont forget to BALANCE IT!!!!! center auto machine OWNS all

Sounds really good...can't wait to see the finished product. Ought to make a good advertising piece for your tuning skills as well to go along with your business 8)

when i saw high comp i was hoping that you were going to go with ctr's like jeff did in the gsr. since you would know they were in there maybe it wouldn't break on the first run

$600 for the entire bottom end assembled and torqued down to spec. I may still do it...but I would prefer to learn on someone elses motor :P or a cheapo D-series build. Plus I really want to use this guy in the future to assemble my shop motors for me so its sort of a test. I am going to see what he can do about balancing but sometimes they want the whole rotating assembly, pulley, crank & flywheel, and well...the pulley and flywheel are on my car as we speak.

CTR dont fit this build...they arent forged and of course the compression is off the charts for a FI build without some major additives and race gas... a motor running straight meth maybe :S
