Re:Brake conversion for EG
Heres what we do when we run a circuit track...
Most set-ups consist of stock size calipers/discs.
-Stainless Steel brake lines --techna
-Powerslot rotors or something crossdrilled.
-Hawk 'blue' series pad
-Synthetic 'not DOT approved' brake fluid. -just dont get caught. $hefty fines$
-If you wanna get real nice with it, get some brake duct's and run them to to keep everything cool. on the streets, that isnt really necessary. an open rim will take care of it.(when I was on the track with stock brakes and synthetic fluid, it was awsome, but my rotor stayed red the entire time, and I went through an entire set of brand new set of bosch pads)
-This is for the front only. It would be PLENTY for the streets.
-If your gonna keep stock rotors/a near stock(nothing HP) pad and rubber lines, at least change your fluid to something synthetic. you will have a huge notice and its fairly cheap to do.
-Stainless Steel Lines. when running SS lines, you will have instant brake when you hit the pedal. --when you hold your pedal down and theres a squish to it, thats the line expanding. you WILL NOT have this with SS lines.
contact www.kingmotorsports.com or www.redshiftmotorsports.com
you can find used ----(rotors) on www.improvedtouring.com classifides
kingmotorsports...they are like the gods of autocross/circut/n.a.s.a/scca/improved touring
check out what they sell, lots of info, and there project vehicles!
Im glad someone is thinking about this. This is my write up on it
To me making a car fast and handle awsome means nothing unless you can stop it.

Re:Brake conversion for EG
goto www.hybrid,honda-perf.org The hydrid garage archives has it all. Rear disc, making fronts equivalant to itr's, master cylinders, boosters and prop. valves.
I'm using teg rear disc but what made a bid diff is the 89 prelude master on my 90 dx hatch. Harder pedal and a lot less travel.
