So what is the city rating? If it's anything above 9mpg it's bullshit. I've driven on the highway and the mileage didn't get ANY better. It's just a gas hog. As american as it was, believe it or not, it was a gas hog. I have no reason to lie about it.

something was wrong with it then, cause everyone else in the world gets better mileage than you.

most people get 12-15 in the city

I still dont understand why people buy american cars.

unless it's a viper, vette or something that you'll beat the ---- out of before it dies at 30k miles.

What was wrong? Tell me oh great one who knows it all. What was causing my 6000lb truck with a 6.0 motor to be getting bad gas mileage. :1

Have you ever even driven one of these vehicles? I know you've never owned one so you have -0- first hand experience with them, only internet knowledge of what Chevy tells you.

you're truely pathetic boost, gimme a break. ask anyone else who has one of these.

this is 99% city driving, most of the time carrying my quad + a trailer with another quad on it. in the mountains, in 4x4, etc...

14.3 average in 5,348 miles. i must have coasted downhill the entire time.

JUST LIKE I ------- SAID D-BAG. about 12-14 in the city 20-22 on the highway in a 99 4x4 318cid dodge! and the silverados are better! with more power. dick cheney and george bush must've tampered with your gas maaaannnnnnn

I'll post something from the internet that even you will understand. :1

http://www.autotrader.com/research/c...used&year=2003
Test 4WD extendeds with 5.3 V8 and automatic transmission averaged 13.7 mpg. Test 6.0 Crew Cab averaged just 7.2 mpg in exclusively city driving; it should do better with more highway use. Test Denalis averaged 13.3-14.5 mpg in city/highway mix. All engines use regular-grade fuel.

I enjoy driving this truck but it is more slugish than I expected. The average fuel milage I am getting 9.6 miles per gallon, that sucks. That on top of all the plastic on the interior is enough to make me look elsewhere for my next truck.
