BOTI: Aftermath.. (lots of pics!!)
Yesterday was our big event at Pacific Raceways. Battle of the imports, in fact it was our only big import event all year long. HMT was going to have about 7-8 cars total there, but with the complications at the last minute some didnt get to race. (leed) Dave was pulling a all nighter w/ (88dx) Steve to finish up Dave's car..

Jay's fuel pressure gauge cracked and was leaking fuel everywhere. I can't believe johnny drove all the way up here to race his car in the condition it was running. The damn thing sounded like a sick subaru w/ a fatty mosquito smokescreen. I had fun it was cool too see everyone’s cars and setups. I went 40 hours with out sleep this weekend 8) It felt really good to sleep and relax all day. LOL Daves dining room table is getting full :-X.

Oh and BTW, someone lost my wheel key so i couldnt take of the slicks, so we aired them up to 20 PSI and drove home. I was not in a good mood.

haha just call me donald the wheelie bars seemed to do thier job dropping my 60' times from the 1.7-1.9 range down to 1.5-1.6 unfortunatly the gremlins were back and i had a ignition problem causing the car to sputter on the tops end (josh if you in everett say dropping off dustins tranny or my valves i could really use the cap you got :-*) maybe there is still time this season to get the stock sleeved b16 into the tens. I defintely had a good time even though I couldn't race. My car will be ready for woodburn on the 11th though (Beau you should come down!) and I will try and get some footage if I can get a video camera. I'm sure Dave will have the video up shortly of BOTI. Everybody did pretty well racing though, Leia did awesome for the first time on slicks and a 300+ horsepower car, Josh ran 11's and got kicked out, Beau broke his car as usual, and Johnny blew about 10 charge pipes that day lol. Thanks for dinner Jeff, that Shari's food is so good! :-X Here is that picture of Bisi, oh and I am going to order some of those drag wheels he has on his car for my new slicks.

Yup, there is another import & sport compact challenge on the 11th, I actually just checked and there is another one October 2nd as well.

That Skunk2 RSX is one fast SOB! I saw it at Famoso and it was just funny to watch all of the Hot Rod Guys face going WTF all motor? ahha =) ;D

Nice pics again. Wish we had as many nice tracks around as you guys have. Over here I have to drive 150 miles to get to an old fucked up airstrip and it's open for only 4-5 days a year :'(. The only good news; it's open next weekend :), can't wait.

Along with being proud of Jeff, Leia, Josh and all the HMT reppers....I had an awesome time! Thanks to Leia for showing the boys that girls can drive :) It got depressing from the spectator stands, but I survived 8)

it is a 80's 2 door volvo turbo.
it ran a 15.2 with a blown headgasket stock then at BOTI with a new head gasket he kept blowing vacume and charge pipes so it din't have a clean pass.. but it shold of hit mid 14's |
