I'm boosting my WRX and it's not payed off

Seriously, but I was afraid of boosting the civic while I still owed, that's why I ended up buying the Hatch and boosting it instead of the civic. If you think you can afford it, do it and get an extra engine, just in case something happens you already have a backup.

quick question. if you have insurance and you boost your car and blow your engine up can they deny help paying for a new engine? Is most d16 around 5-600 dollars? I have a 250 deductable on my insurance so thats how much i would have to pay towards a new engine. But I heard if they want they wont help pay for your car parts if you have done modification towards it.

just put it back to stock before they come look at it but i don't know what kind of insurance you have, but i think that stuff falls under 'warranty', not insurance i've never heard of ins. paying for an engine.

Oh yeah..take the ---- out first good idea teg! And your right, i think the warranty does handle that. But my warranty runs out in 3 years 30,000 miles. But my friend insurance company did help pay for him to by another engine for his intrepid though

Was you friend involved in an accident and therefor needed a new engine, or was it just blown. Maybe it depends on the type of insurance and the insurance company you or he has.

he was driving on the highway and his piston blew right through the engine and oil spilled all over the high way. the weird thing was he was even boosted. The engine was stock. He said he had to pay 500 for an engine and the insurance covered the rest. My insurance is through USAA its a goverment insurance through my dad so i don't know what they would do

Its really a tought call to boost something your still paying for. I think with most of us, we wouldnt be able to afford it cash wise and chance wise. I just like having the toy crx with no obligations
