Boosting while paying off car

I've notice that most of the members here have boosted cars that seem to be already payed off. Im not sure. I know Dr. Boost is planning on boosting his new car that he payed off already and im sure there many more of you too. The only people i know that might be still paying off there car is me and teg. Are there any others?

---- it, as long as you don't plan on trading it in any time soon :-\ i plan on keeping my car until it rusts out, in a year or two, it's not going to be a daily driver and more of a race car. ----, i would have kept my 93 teg, but it was a little rusty, and that's one thing i won't tolerate....

I did that once I have the car outside being parted out and I still owe money on it :( That was one hard ass lesson I learned, after putting about $10G's into it in about 2 years I just gave up. Now I'm sticking with old cars that I can buy cash in hand, if I blow it up I'll just push back in my garage until I find another motor. And I will never mod a daily driven car again unless it is just minor stuff (ricer crap) :P

well, i say ---- it. my car will be paid off in two years, and if i blow it up, i have another car to drive until i put a new engine in it. but as soon as i get it boosted, i'm buying a spare b16 to build, that way i'll still have the stock b16 to throw back in it and all the numbers will match up and what not if i do for some reason sell it.

Re:Boosting while paying off car

I boosted my 99 last Aug. but dudnt end up payingit off until just a few weeks ago. I said to myself "Well, I can either make this car a car that I want to drive while I am paying for it, or I can sell it now and get a car that I do want to drive". Now that I am boosted I think I will hold onto the civic forever, and I am not in such a hurry to go looking for a new car. I say boost it; otherwise you are constantly going to be thinking about getting rid of the car.
