Yeah there seems to be a serious problem with rebuilts. When you bay bargain prices for an old OEM one you know what you are getting into and it is a good bang-for-the-buck thing, and a new one seems to work as a new one should. The rebuilts seem to be hit-or-miss.

Blaastperformance has a very allowable position regarding warranties, the reason being that the satisfaction of that ONE customer out of 100 who experienced problems is well worth the efforts and expenses of replacing the item that failed.

Also, 5 minutes after i read the first PM about that turbo problem, I already had a replacement center section ready to ship for free, without the need for the grenaded CHRA to even be returned at all.

(BTW, here is the diplomatic way he used: "if this dosent work out satisfactoraly i will dedicate my online time to slandering and bad taking your company until i dont have internet anymore.")

status update:
3 days later, the replacement CHRA is still not shipped to MR."13th round" because:
#1 he didn't reply to any of the PM replies he received from me trying to organise the replacement.
#2 he started this RIDICULOUS bitching thread BEFORE he had the chance to communicate with me at all about his turbo problem (whoever's fault it is)

SO What do YOU ALL, HMT members think ???
- DO i still ship the damn replacement CHRA to MR " 13th round" ? Should I wait for a sign of life other than bad talking on the forums.

It sounds like he had a bad experience from the beginning. I dont know the whole story between you two, but 5 weeks is a long time to wate. But if you told him up front "hay man im really bussy and its gona be a few weeks/months before I ship" well then hes a ass. But he did pay you for your services. So in that manner I would ship him the center section. Send it to him and then make him look like a ass to all of us.

I had a problem kinda like this and I was steaming mad. Bought a piston kit online from a ebay store and it didnt come with any rings, but in the auction it said it came with rings. I emaild/called and did everthing I could to get ahold of the seller. No kinda responce. So after 1 1/2 weeks of trying to find out where the rings were I filled a pay pal clame. Needles to say it took 5 weeks to get my complete kit. But I eventualy got everthing. I wouldnt do biz with again, But I was overall happy at the end. Customer service is key to any biz.... bottom line.

not blaasts fault.. EVERYONE knows that customs could hold ---- for as long as they want
13th round is a pole smoker :-\

lesson to be learned? if your in a hurry to have a turbo rebuilt.. dont use blaast because theres a slim chance that it will get caught up in customs

Re: blaast fucked my turbo

Yeah, I saw BLAAST sending a message on the forums yesterday and figured it was about the turdbo.

I can understand being pissed, but it's ALWAYS better to contact the seller before badmouthing them. In a lot of cases they'll be happy to help you out, but talking ---- about them won't do anything but piss them off as well.

Customs is ----.

Its definitely a stupid way of going about things. You cant talk ---- to someone and expect them to wanna do anything for you..

On the other hand the 13th round is a supporter of HMT sponsors. Purchased off of me, and put some cash in mine and Jeff franks pocket by doing so.
