out sourcing development is on the down turn, because they've realized its not the best way to do shi
Sorry, but I doubt it was the team that caused the dealy... more than likely the politics involved in them doing their job that prevented them from completing things in a timely manner. Could also be that you just employed bumbling morons who couldn't do their job.. which wouldn't surprise me either. (Read my comment about tech schools pumping out IT people that are worthless?)

I was a programmer a long time ago... did ASM, some C... blah blah blah... I was good, I still got outsourced. My friend's mom is a .net programmer... one of the company's best... and she got outsourced. Don't lie to yourself and think it's not happening... it is. Eventually my job might even be outsourced.... that's why I'm pursuing a career outside of being a sysadmin.

I think it would be foolish to think you can't get laid off/outsourced. I never thought it would happen, but it's happening to everybody around me. If it happens to me I won't be surprised.

BTW, I want to see a paycheck stub on one of those $65k/year checks before I believe that. Most people who make that much don't live with their parents. :P

Good beni's and job security. Can't beat that. There will never be a shortage of shitbags in the world so you will always have work. I honestly wouldn't mind doing that, but I'm not sure if I could handle sitting on my *** for that long.

My Uncle's a prison guard in Ohio... I wouldn't want that job, screw that. He called in sick one day, the guy who was there in his place was taken hostage by a prisoner and had his throat slit. Screw that. He says I should do it too. Right now I'm shooting for a college prof, hopefully at a local CC. Small *** classes, not bad pay, job security ftw. Theres always going to be colleges looking for professors.
