Default BBKA, your car getting stolen gave me this idea.. a transponder kill switch

So many people have had their car stolen lately that Ive been thinking I need another security system besides my factory alarm. I figured I’d put a kill switch on my car, but I’m sure I would be just like BBKA and forget to activate it. So my next idea was that I need a kill switch that I didn’t have to switch, a wireless kill switch. So from BBKA getting his car stolen to me brain storming to find out a really lazy way to have a kill switch. Boom, the wireless transponder kill switch was invented. Its pretty much the same as those car keys with chips in them. Its similair to those id tags that walmart uses.

Here is a pic

the white card is my transponder

Below is is a movie I took tonight… the movie is real dark, but its not like you can see the scanner device anyway. Just listen for the system and you can hear it activate. I have two transponders right now, a credit card sized one and a button. What I'm going to get next is a tear drop since those are eazy to put on a key chain.

BTW, i'm not keeping my scanner in that location ;-)

i'm killing my fuel. so you can crank it all day, but it the engine will not start. so if you hide it well and not post its location on the internet your pretty safe.

i'd pick a tricky kill. fuel is common. run a hard wire from battery to fuel pump and there on there way. sounds dumb but it could happen. cut something like starter, ecu's power...

From what you posted I'm confused on how it ties into the car.

I've always been a fan of hidden push button breaking the power signal to the starter, along with another kill on the fuel ect. With very basic electronic knowledge 12398043258 kill switches could be thought up.
