well i can wait and use my buds engine hoist because im in no hurry and it makes life allot easier.
I live in PORT ORANGE/DAYTONA BEACH
My regal started today without a problem after sitting for 2 years with 2 year old gas.
and do you know why because its a chevy.
I need to fix up my regal anyways
Im thinking set of 100 dollar flowtech headers and a 2 1/2 inch exhaust with glass packs.
and fix the rust and give it a flate black paint job.

Thats the only problem with having 2 cars that i have wanted since i can remember.
I can only afford to drive 1 so the other gets the back yard
cheap and boxy but thats why i love them

And after i get the crx back on the road boosted 350 is coming out!

ahhh....explain please?

I figured the valve overlap would allow some of the pressure to escape, but I've really not looked into it either so dunno.

sounds sorta like what im gonna do with my y7. a6 head reworked with all new parts if possible. y7 block/crank, i my get a tbird turbo till i can afford a nice new garret ive always wanted, vitaras/eagle or vitaras/tt rods, drag mani or something else. and little things here and there. and ive also been asking JD many questions as well. and is a 292 regrind still streetable? or is a 282 a safer route for a dd.

Im maybe 5 hours from you, Pensacola.
What year is your regal? I wouldnt mind havin a mid-late 80's Regal/Monte Carlo/ Cutlass. GNX's and the Monte Carlo SS Aero coupes are the ---- tho, I'd kill for a GNX.

Jon at delta said that if you still want to drive it on the street go with the 282 grind.

Im going 292
But i also drove my car with no a/c, a unsprung 6 puck and a jegs poly racing seat.
If you want to go fast you have sacrifice.

P.S.
I love lobey cams!
They make my peepee hard!

Overlap allows for better scavenging results which lead to more hp. You can also shift your powerband up higher with cam overlap...an example is one of my old boost builds on my b16. I destroyed the T3 I had on there and all I had was an old 14b laying around. It worked, but it ran out of steam around 5k rpm, so in order to raise the the powerband I overlapped the cams. What it does is it uses the early rpm boost to help "push" the burnt exhaust out of the engine (loosing boost pressure at the same time) and helps to scavenge due to higher exhaust flow (especially on log manifolds). All you do is turn your boost pressure back up to make up for the pressure loss and voila'...better power and power range.

To put it layman's terms.
