I just got p3 opdet orders. Hopefully I can get my foot in the weld shop.

Yeah actually that was exactly what I was going for. I bombed calc 2. My school now requires Diff Equations AFTER calc 2 for mech eng tech. ---- that.

That's funnny you mention that. I had the idea of joining the navy and doing auto/aircraft/diesel work.

Would you join the navy if you could go back and do it over again? My whole family hates the idea of the service. especially since I'm 2 years into school.

i would do it over, but never seen another job that i would have done except the one i picked.

i would suggest you get a minimum of a bachelors degree.. even if you dont work in the feild that u majored in.. do it while u r young....

What the ---- is wrong with your school? Any mechanical engineer that doesn't take Calc 5 isn't a mechanical engineer. I guarantee your school isn't certified.

Besides Multi-variable ---- and Linear/Diff-Equations what more does your typical engineer need to know that they teach you in your 'Calc 5' class?

in ct they have plenty of good school for you... they have baran institute... and a few more i dont remember.. also uti.. i think thers one in ri or ma...
