Default Anyone else here with sleeping trouble?

I have this weird problem that WHEN its NOT time for bed, I'll pass out. However I usually end up tossing/turning to 2-3am before i pass out when I DO goto bed at a reasonable hour. Its finally really cutting into my work/life as I often wake up 2 hours late for work.. or whatever im doing. lucily i have a really cool boss who basically lets me work open hours, but i still feel like an asshat for showing up at like 110am :P

anyway.. just seeing if anyone else has overcome this ---- without some sort of drug... i dont like dr's or drugs :P

yeah, i use to drink so much that if i wasn't drinking (which wasn't very often) i couldn't fall asleep. get these over the counter sleeping pills called "simply sleep" i think they're made by tylenol and they sell them at wally world. you will pass right out and have no problem getting up in the morning.

I used to be the same way, if I didnt have booze in me I couldnt sleep. I still hve that problem on Sun. nights after a weekend of drinking. Exercise helped me, along with sticking to a set sleeping schedule. I found that if I forced myself to sleep 12 to 7 that I just felt better and slept better after a few weeks. I still take the occasional tylenol PM though. Good luck.

develop a morning routine and a night routine...

like as soon as you wake up in the moring do somehting first EVERYTIME. whether it's walking around the block or drinking orange juice before your coffe(which helps to wake you up more). Don't eat sugar during the afternoon or for breakfast or you'll crash.

Seriously tomorrow try drinking a glass of ornge juice about 10mins before your coffee, then drink your coffee, BOOM you're WIDE awake. Try it the next day only reversed... I can actually feel it screwing up my head a little bit, maybe I'm just nuts but try it...
