Any 87-93' 5.0 HMT guys ??
I know a few 5.0 guys, and I'm thinking about buy a 4banger-auto car and slapping a 5.0L with a an auto C4/6 tranny and twin turboing it via "flipped shorty headers" and 2 SVO .60/.63 turbos...
Just wondering if there are any HMT style guys on this board, hell we got HMT SHOs, why not 5.0's.. |

My buddy had an 85 Mustang and it was fun till the fuel line exploded and the car went up in flames. :-\ Mustangs are such pieces of ----

I would buy the 2.3ltr turbo stang, and build the ---- out of it. there is a guy here with one, you would swear its a 5.0 till you hear the BOV. ssseeeexxxxyyyyy.....at 25psi blowing off...
the rule of thumb ive always been told, an older car like that, if it was made for a V-8, the factory wouldve put a V-8 in it. the 4cyl cars were made for 4cyl.... body mounts/chassis/drive-train etc will all have to be switched out to do it right... :-\ and if you are gonna do everything you say...i would consider a different platform. IMO if you wanna go turbo on a mustang, build the 2.3ltr. they are already bullet proof...and parts are cheap. those 2 combos make me ;D |

the turbo stangs were SVO not SVT
