im not gonna make a thread about the draft/what a stop loss means.
I will say this...
there will not be a draft.

and if there was a draft...well, i think the picture of an aug issue of navy times explains it pretty well. to sum up the story(which cant be accessed over the net because i wont pay $30 for a username) they are kickin out 60,000 sailors because "they simply dont have a job for them anymore" and "ship use is becomming scarce/no need to spend the money on keeping ships at rediness right now"
sailors who want to stay in the military are being givin $14000, to leave the navy involuntary. so if they were even considring a draft, wouldnt they train these 60,000 sailors in the areas they need them rather than give them $14,000 to leave the military? something just doesnt sound right.
