Re:abaz crvtec whats up
Yup, the Red car is my daily driver, and I have honestly been having alot more fun with it, Once you boost b-series, you never go back All my time and effort has really been into this car, the race car...... well it seems ---- just doesnt end with that thing, plus I really dont care working on it where its at, maybe if it was sitting in my garage I would get a tad bit more motivated. Who knows, maybe this year it will get done, or I might sell out, I think having a pretty ------- quick street car is alot funnier than having a built race car. Unless it was setup for road racing

Re:abaz crvtec whats up
true true.. fixing the car is half the fun. I've seen one place do something serious w/ a crvtec. The did some dyno tuning and cam swapping and some dyno runs but that was about it. Nothing since. I'd love to see what you can do with it.
Just promise us all one thing. Take very details pictures and memos.

i might be mistsakin, but someone told me that b20 blocks arent as strong as a b18 block. i was wanting to go with a b20 until i heard this. also would it be better to do a b18 block with b20 head, or would it be better to do b18 a/b block with b18c head?

Re:abaz crvtec whats up
The B20 cylinders are all cast together. The casting itself is extremely complex compared to the B18/B16 sleeves. The fact that the casting is large, with variable thicknesses and they are very brittle by comparison to their simpler round counterparts. Brittle parts can't "flex" under loads. That is also why I aided the sleeves with Posts/pins. (check in the hybrid forum for my write up)
Basically the B20 and F20c (s2000) share the same sleeve design.
12psi tuned correctly shouldnt be a problem.
