the p29 pistons in the a6 takes the compression to this? -or with the z6 head? There is a sohc zc in the jy on base and I was thinking about getting it. Should be able to score it for around $100 complete...but sorta want the dual cam...

Seems up still. www.deltacam.com ? I'm thinking I'm going to fire off some SOHC nontec cams for a 272 and 280 grind just to be safe...

The delta cams for what they are do the job. I have used the 272 and 260 grinds with sucess. Sadly the best sohc cam I have used was a gude cam thing was a beast



For the sohc non vtec world seems like bisi has the answers just dont see many people spending close to a grand even though Im sure they are the ----

P29 (dohc ZC) pistons in a D16Z6 will give 12.04:1 compression.

P29 pistons in a D16A6 will give approximately 11.06:1 compression.

SOHC non vtec ZC's are the same as USDM D16A6's
