id checkthe dizzy. is the shaft the rotor rides on have alot of play? that usually wears out the contact point with the ignitor

it sounds like your grounds for sure, ---- when my grounds werent on my a6 motor id hit the brake and the dam temp needle would rise up and my tach was wack.

you know what else it could be, ive had this problem on a few boats. if the guy forgot to unhook somthing before he droped the tranny he might have partialy pulled a wire out of the pin, or you may have a wire thats crimped somewhere on your harness. and that is going to be a bitch to check for continuity on every wire in your harness.

well i put a ecu in it.. and does the same ------ thing!!! its pissin me off.. i checked the grounds they look good but im gonna run bigger grounds and go over the underside i still havent jacked it up.. dont know what else it could be.. maybe the igition switch?? help.. i wanna driver her..

Maybe this is the reason you got a good deal on the car double check the ground on the thermostat and if that dont work check the cams if you wanna buy another ecu i got one for a manual and one for an auto

92_Lude

i have a 92 lude. and i had a very very siilar problem... does it seem to not wanna start when its hot outside? i gaurentee you it is the main relay... it is a common problem with honda's. if u go to the dealer, ask for the PGM-FI Relay. its located under the dash on the driver side its kinda hard to see and get at but it is possible... let me know how it goes
