i use to own a 96 ls, 3 things i hated about it, it was an auto, soft suspension that couldnt hand worth a ---- and once you hit 107ish you ------- feel that govener hit hard. its a great car if you do the speed limit and like to cruise

Grand prix - Monte = same platform....both nice cars....auto and fwd = boring as watching Monkey's ----...still, comfy and roomy....nice cars.

Nope.. always had the *pleasure* of working on the 3.1's.. my cousin vince had one in his cavy, chris has one in his regal, my aunt patty had one in her grand prix and my mom had one in her lumina, and now my sister's bf has a sunbird with one. I can't get away from these *******

3.4's a ----....Alt takes like 2.5 hours min, unlike a 3.1 where it's 2.5 min....and a timing belt....what a *****, then after the idiot tech time's it wrong and stuff touches other stuff you get to s'plain to the cust why his car is broken for many many days....sigh....sorry, just my life as a service advisor in teh 90's rant.....that'll do pig....

The pushrod 60 degree V6s, 2.8 3.1 3.4, are cake compared to that ******. The X codes do have a lot of potential though. I think that it was rumored that the original iteration, before production, was putting out somewhere in the neighborhood of 375 hp at the flywheel. Its just what I have heard though as I haven't actually seen or read of any prof of this.

Buk if you get that thing boost it if you can find room to stuff everything.
