Perfectly setup vs perfectly setup RWD will win time and time again its been proven. Properly setup RWD comes out of the hole like a beast, but if both cars were making 600hp the fwd would probably beat it from a roll.

1.45 is crap, try low mid 1.3x. Through a crazy stall'd automatic, own fwd on the track and street.

lol this is pointless. What times do you see with 600hp 3200lb cars? I havn't brushed up on it lately. But i rarely see 1.3x 60's with stalled/transbrake 3200lb cars.

My buddy and I are working on his mustang. 4k stall /w transbrake and 600whp on this setup, going for 1000 on the built motor. I'd love to see that thing turn 1.3x 60's on 10" rubber

boosted 351w ftw!

You arent on ls1 tech enough, plenty of cam'd nitrous stock heads autos running 10s, theyre about to break into 9's and cutting a 1.45 is a bad 60ft for them

Lol i'm never on ls1 tech.. Nice comparison. that car was a just a bit over 600hp. But i see the point of stock suspension. I never said that FWD was better. Just saying power to wieght ratio owns. Personally, I'd rather be able to walk liter bikes on the freeway then run low 10's high 9's. You'd need close to 1000whp to do that.

Plenty and a few are totally different terms BTW because there is only a few on there.

750rwhp vette walks a hayabusa easily. theres a vid of it somewhere

and 1000rwhp viper walks a turbo hayabusa.

Yeah, maybe not 1000hp but i see your point. FWD is great to a certain point, then it becomes diminishing returns. Id say FWD is faster in the beginning (lower hp) and as the figures get higher RWD begins to win.

Traction ftw. Spikers accord is getting the RWD action as soon as he pony's up and lets me cut the tunnel.
