2JZ into 83 or 84 toyota cressida?
 

Is it almost a bolt in or are there serious serious mods needed to get it to fit? I just came across a nice old cressida for sale and was wondering how hard it was to get to fit... toyota guys.....

Should be an easy fit since those things come with 2.8L I-6's.

You will needed a 1jz ball housing to run the stock trans. You also have to make it a single turbo setup. Wiring is hell. Money, money, and money pit comes to mined.

Um negative, you can use the twins still. I have a buddy that's had one. The best way to do it is use a megasquirt.

I had the same idea a few years back for everything I read, and all the pic's I saw this was just no room for it. Your right megasquirt is you best bet on a budget.

It's probably easier, wiring wise to put a 7m-gte in it.

I thought that the 7m was already in that beast?

Why not just buy stock ---- for the GTE? ;D
