Re: 1st time at the strip

I'd call MH and talk with them. I bought some slicks from them online and they were out of stock (didn't say that on the website when I ordered). Well I think it was that day or maybe the next day they actually gave me a call to let me know this and offered to give me a bigger tire for the same price, so they defintely have great customer service and I'm sure will help you with any questions you might have.

I'd also fiddle around with tranny calculators to figure out what size tire you might want. Also if you every plan on pushing your car harder or building the motor you might want to think about getting bigger slicks now, that way you won't need new ones down the road. I was only running 215-230whp and had 23x8 inch slicks, they worked great.

To have the tires shiped its 274, do you think i can do better than that, or is that bottom of the line pricing there

I keep readin over the traction bar stuff, and it sounds like some of ya are saying i dont need that or am i misreading it, cause i got wheel hop out the ass.

dude a stock steelie is not 8 inches, its 5.5. i wouldnt go any bigger then 8 width on a stock wheel.

Mounting slicks on stock honda wide rims isnt going to use the full use of the tire. In reality you need to step up to Bogarts my fav but pricey or Lenso the poor mans wheel. Both work great and are worth the extra money.

Yes you can mount slicks on stock rims but really spend the extra couple hundred. 24 inch slicks on vx rims=omg

good stuff, with prices like that even white boys can buy rims :)

What is acceptable back space for stock calipers/discs. i dont understand there picture explanation completely :1

so a 15/8 with 4X100 wheel studs is what i should be looking for right, and will a 15/10 rub whe turning???

Thanks for the help "again"
