thanks and again i do not plan on racing but i might go out to trackday a few times
thankyou for looking and please no haterade for wanting to make a corolla go fast(it is a cheap lightweight car and that is what exacly hondas have)

Thread jackin ----------ers....

ANyway, as a few ppl have said, the 4afe does have potential, will probably take more money and time than a civic though. Change the oil, put gas in it, and that bitch will run forever. Stock computers suck to make any manly power out of, head gasket will be a concern as well. 4age likes the boost, but most are old now and would not be cost effective.

3sgte is far inferior from an engineer's standpoint than any bseries, 4g63, 2jz blah blah, cyliner heads dont flow enough, have weak low limit pistons, cranks are prone to cracking (got 5 cracked @ the shop) 3s isnt worth the time or money. To make any decent power they need to be built from the ground up, the end.

I would just drive the piss out of it.

Its more fun to drive a slow car fast, than drive a fast car slow.

If your wanting to make it fast for cheap, slap a turbo on it, megasquirt, and call it a day. could do it for less than $1000 if resourceful.

Good luck w/ that ----.

With all that swap options...I would just drop in a 4agze since its got some what of a internal to stand quite an amount of boost. Push at least 15 lbs on that sucker. For the pain and work, just drop the 4agze and take out the supercharger to sell, gets a few bucks for a new turbo right.
