318 would work if you are on a tight budget, wheelwell headers, stick tranny, the problem with teh velocity stacks is the multi carb setup is big dollars, cheaper to fing a junkyard 360, re-ring, bearing and gasket it, mild port and valve job, cam and spring kit from any magazine vendor, econoline van front end for your straight axle, moon tank on the nose, single plane intake, bg carb, then an old style breather from a swap meet or e-gay....tin work on tHE INTERIOR, old buckets covered in vinyl, swap meet guages, soem flat black paint, repop speed equipment stickers, and voila, fun, retro gasser.....

look for the 360's that came in the power wagons alot of torque

True, but don't think it is stock... Alledgedly you can find an Aussie Hemi head for the slant as well, and aluminum block motors. Lotta options to make it :6

This is true. Plus, that movie lied to you. The Monte Carlo's had a 502 and a 572, not 632 motors... :y
