^ exactly.

I didnt expect it too last for as long as it did. 9months of abuse and torture on that poor little soldier.

It died with honor.

Now onto bigger, better and proper builds

Nice to see you have a positive attitude about the whole thing. I love the car (Psst..i own 2 4 doors :P )

I like how you had the turbo mounted the other way. most us EF guys have it with the cold side on the driver side but you define the laws of the EF and do it the gangsta way! are you only able to run it that way cause of the manifold you ran? I take it that isnt possible with a Hf mani and an adapter plate.

Good luck!

i ran the like that as it fit the best way with everything else. I had the turbo clocked the other way around and the way the manifold had a kick out in it, it caused me a lot of grief for clearence. The current position fit the best, althought it meant not running any sort of intake.

update:

I got the motor out and found that it blew out through the rear as well

ya know out of all the years, I've never seen a B-series gernade like a D.. I mean I have seen rods break in B-series but the blocks are most of the time still fixable. When D-series let go, there is just no prayer the thing will live. ---- the rods blow the girdle in half, launch out the pan, out the front and backsides of the block. I had a ZC throw a rod right through the downpipe onetime. It's usually always #3 or #1

goodluck on your next setup
