as said once before, stay the ---- out of it. i could give 2 shits what you think. ::)

and i havet pulled the rest of the motor apart, and if you had read the other threads, you would see that the same thing is in all 4 pistons. ;)

its the way its suspossed to be straight from the horses mouth. (SRP)

If they were high silicon they wouldnt expand at all and you wouldnt be able to see the rings. Because they are low silicon and forged they expand like crazy and you have to have high clearance. Yes, these are low silicon, to whoever asked that question.

i was under the impression that they were high-silicon and thats why they were weaker. Anyway, i still think that one cylinder has too much play just by the looks of it, the other ones werent like that were they?

High-silicon (4032 alloy) pistons are more brittle. Their thermal coefficient of expansion is lower which allows for tighter clearances. If there's large clearance (enough to wiggle a piston) then they're low-silicon pistons with a higher thermal coefficient of expansion. That would be the 2618 alloy.
