zc headgasket

Maybe I should list this in the classifieds but I've also got a question for you guys. I'm running an all motor zc that has the head shaved .020 and combustion chambers welded so the compression is a little high right now to boost it, but should I find a thicker headgasket or go with a new engine since I'm thinking about going with a y8 swap being that parts are more available then the aging zc platform? Anyone know of any companies that would make a gasket?

going with a thicker HG means u could blow it very easy and they aint cheap, the true fix is some low comp pistons
o and also i think the d16a9 HG works for zc. someone correct me if i am wrong.

Which zc is the D16A9? Which y/m/m? What would be a "safe" c/r for boosting for the zc? Also with the headgasket question I'd probably try to find a copper h.g. instead of just stacking two since that's just asking for trouble. I know hks make a couple different hg's for the zc but their like in the 200-400 range, and for that price I could just find a stock zc head.
D16A9 is a 88-89 integra motor I do believe. There are many similarities between that motor's head and the zc head, but the bottom end is mostly d16a6 stuff. The only really weird thing about the zc is the timing belt, which is a 2.0 prelude one.
found some interestig ZC info, in there it says a D16A9 is the europen model engine which is also carburated, hmm, is this true?
