if you're going to build it, do it right.
don't ---- aroudn with stock pistons and ls rods. the max that you'll get is *maybe* 15psi and one fuckup with the tuning and you'll be adding some AC to your block.
not to mention chances are high that you'll melt down one of the pistons.
dont waste your time with like mild build.
cheapest you should go is with some goods forged pistons and eagel rods or some h beams or something along that line.

The A6 would put your compression pretty low. Say goodbye to spool time.

I don't think d-series motors are worth trying to make go super fast. I am debating myself weather to throw je pistons and eagle rods into my Z6. What it comes down to is how fast do you want to go and how much do you want to spend??
