Yet another smokey question....sorry folks...
I was just reading about some smoking problems that people have been having and was wondering, the smoking in the morning(when cold) is it caused by too much pressure? I know my problems not the drain at all. Excellent angle and diameter but that smoke out of my Turbonetics T3 is really gettin' to me. So is pressure the problem, all other things looking pretty good? Thanks in advance.
Mine only smokes when it's cold. Like if it's been sitting all day and I start it up, a few minutes later it will start smoking. Some people have blamed it on my pistons too though so I dunno. They are Arias 9.5:1 pistons.
My car does that, but it's the valve stem seals in the engine. Oil has all night to drip down into the cylinders through the valve stems, then when I start it up, all that oil gets burned up.
Sorry for Highjacking the thread but....
My car smokes like crazy...There is puddles of oil on everything under the hood...Oh yeah spits oil really bad out of the exhaust ..And when I pull my plug wires there is about 2" of oil on top of the plug. The I try to dry it up as best I can and then there I pull the plug out it is dripping with oil..
Basically it is messed up pretty bad I know..I was thinking piston ring lands..
Ohh yeah maybe something with the valves too cause when you stick a dollar bill over the exhaust it will blow it out then suck it back in....
