Holy ----. You are hating on me that bad because I am going to test this turbo out? Just like the people on s2ki.com when I was building a HMT setup for my s2k. All I heard was "OMG! You aren't going to use a $6000 Turbonetics BB turbo kit!!!!". Get over yourself.

Well I will keep everyone updated regardless. If the turbo is a pile of steamy backwoods jungle fever africa ---- you will hear it from me. I don't know how long term it will be but I'll use it until my new motor is finished and ready to install. Probably going to be about 6 months running time. Better than NA in the meantime.

I am running ssauto junk on my 97 hatch with a gsr swap I bout the hole kit very impressed with it I broke my maonifold but it was my fault the wastegate was hitting the center part of my core support My budy went ahead and braced it for me
I will run any stock gsr car with a 3000 dallor turbo kit on my 1500 dollar turbo kit
thats for my uberdata and every thing cant complane for in the 12s
if you buy a ssauto kit brace the mainofld first of all
and buy a oil restrictor for the turbo or you will ---- ---- up that a ll i did I drive my car every day ((((((no problams)))) at all

good luck and hopefully a good deal.
a lot of ford forums have had problems with those turbos. maybe its the high hp that causes issues.
post some pics when you get a chance.

You shouldn't need to run a restrictor to keep the turbo from grenading.

Hotrex has a stock GSR with alot less than $3000 into the kit and I'd be willing to put $500 on his ride just because I know what a small primary manifold and an unbalanced "T3/T4 Hybrid" Ssauto is capable of.

Hotrex also had an SSautoshit wastegate recently fail on him too.

I've seen some good results from the SSAC aka Stone Mountain Racing "super T70" I wouldn't own one - better turbos available for cheaper when you live in the Holsetpark *erm* *cough* *trailerpark*. Still, I;ve tuned four cars with them and they've done pretty well, if a touch on the laggy side for anything smaller than a GSR.

SSAC does OK with their wastegates, too. I don't care if coleslawboy ak hotrex had one fail on him. That ****** is so hopped up on 'roids he probably overtorqued a bolt when replacing wg springs and Johnny Bighammered the poor thing.

update, that steramy pile of africa ---- did fail on me just 2 days later.. my list of parts i wont run from ssac, has been upped to ALL OF THEM.

MY KIT cost me about 1700 and it wuill ---- all over your ssac kit. i promise.

projekteg same thing. a much much better quality kit for alot less than u payed.

in short. ssac = ricers sittin around the computer sayin, "it cant be that bad, lets give it a try" then 2 weeks later they got their thumb up there *** cause they bought a steamy pile of afrca ----.
