I just finished building my motor new head etc and the turbo was fine before i started pulling the motor apart,but now it seems like the oil seals blew? oil comes rushing out of just the dump pipe ,but not through the charge pipes.The only thing i can think that might have fuked the seal is that when i took the head off i left the turbo + manifold just sitting in the bay with the oil return line still hooked up.And it fall over one night and was sitting on the ground .Now when it feel over could oil from the return rushed through the seals and fukd them? or could it have been cause it was sitting in the engine bay for 3months with the oil lines hooked up?

how long has it run since the new motor? maybe the seals just beed to be heated up. Unless you started the car w/ the turbo on its side on the ground you shouldnt worry about that causing the problem.

When you put oil in it it comes out? Mine did that when it was out of the car....

A bit creeped out the exhaust side. It's not a big deal. Put it back on the car, and if it smokes a little use thicker oil.

 

it leaks heaps of oil,Like my whole garage is full of it.I cranked the car with no leads for 20secs,Then hooked the leads up and started it as soon as started oil came out of the exhaust wheel.I let it warm up and no difference.IL post pic of how much oil comes out.

 

my rhb5 spits oil out of the exhaust fan when i rev it up. prolly just needs new seals.

 

Yeah thats what i think it needs,But i angry cause it was perfect before i pulled it off.Anyone done a DIY rebuild on a rhb5?Its got no free play or damage to the wheels.
