Default would you boost it?

my brother inlaw wants to turbo his crx.....but when he bought the rex it had a d15b7....now i told to do a leak down test or compression check and if everything was cool then boost it......but he thinks it cant handle 5 too 7 psi daily........i had the same motor boosted at 10 to 12 daily and it lasted fer a while....so what do you guys think....oh it has 104k i think

just turbo it. you'll only find out if it will blow one way.

get a new timing belt and call it "tuned the ---- up" and boost it to 14psi daily. it'll be awesome!
