Is it worth it on this engine.
Hi all!
i have a Honda cbr250r mc19 here, the engine is a 4 stroke dohc 16 valve 4 cylinder, its quite a high revving engine, the red line starts at 18,000rpm and the limiter comes in at 19,000 rpm and it does not make much power below 16,000 rpm, from the manufacturer its claimed 44PS but i don't think it makes that much power, feels more like 35ish bhp.
Anyways i read that theirs a guy in japan who has successfully turbocharged one and done some other work and it is now running 90bhp.
Is their a turbo suit such a high revving small capacity motor what offers good results are would supercharging probably be a better idea?

it would take a really small turbo. if you could get one from a geo metro that might make power before redline. if you have $1500 to spend i know of a really small turbo that people use on big brigs and stratton engines
