no one said that you shouldn't boost it, or that your intercooler wouldn't work, your just being ignorant and want to do it how you want because you don't heed warnings given to you by people that have turbo cars.

You act like we're "hating" which is kinda funny if you think about. What are we hating for? Shall it be envy? I think not. You get your first boosted whip and we don't wanna see it blow or run poorly when you could do what we say (and what you KNOW) and make it run at it's finest. You're being very stubborn. i wonder Why.

 

go drive the car around and be hard on it, stick your hand down where you plan on putting your intercooler and tell me how hot it feels right there in the bay. it will be a realistic 30-40º warmer with a turbo/ down pipe near it.

 

Thus, the reason for the heatshield that will be going over the turbo AND behind the intercooler.
