also can you be more specific than that, if i wire it to the acc wont it stay on as long as my key is in the 2 position? isnt that bad? specifically lets say i start over, where do i need to put my power wire ? im not that familiar with relays and such.

91 crx si. i know this is pretty n00b but wiring isnt my forte

first of all...are you putting in an inline or an intank pump?

inline, i just typed the wrong thing up above, i know where the acc plug is on my fuel pump, i can hook up there if thats right.

wire it up to the acc wire or something that comes on with the 2nd key position and use that as the switched power to a relay and run a seperate fused power wire to it as well...i wouldnt tap off the fuel pump wire at all

well, today i busted out the multi meter and tested the pump and all that jazz, it absolutely does not lower the current to the intank pump, if you wire it up off the acc the pump will continulely run even if the motor is not on.

I would run it off the intank circuit and use a basic 12v circuit relay to power them.
