Just wondering which is the better turbo.either one is going on a civic hb with a gsr powerplant.Plan on running around 6-7p.I have a 14b already but it is missing the o2 housing.Now a friend of mine is selling a 14g for $100ca.Is this a good deal,the turbo is in excellent shape.Minamal shaft play.And which one is easier to get parts for.Thanks.

 

i think both those turbos are tiny for ur 8000 rpm dohc

The 14g turbo is nearly the same as the 14b, it outflows it by like 20cfm. They are both made by mitsu, so parts are going to be pretty much the same. I've never actually seen a 14g, just compressor maps, I assume its sits in the same config as other dsms. Or possibly it sits in the starion/conquest config.
